  • Accurate accounting & bookkeeping - to reduce / eliminate year end surprises
  • Define and ensure budgeting, planning, forecasting cycles are in place and operational
  • Actionable reporting - MIS & dashboard reporting on financials and KPIs
  • Board of director / senior leadership reporting
  • Managing investor relations
  • Helping raise money (equity, inter corporate deposits, loans, etc)
  • Maintaining banking relationships
  • IPO management / adherence with listing requirements
  • Corporate governance - Process documentation, undertaking risk assessments, ensure adequacy of internal controls, SOX compliance, etc
  • Undertaking cost optimization exercises & implementation of identified initiatives
  • Lead on M&As and corporate restructuring exercises
  • Engage on key strategic discussions that impact financials of the organization
  • Adherence with applicable regulatory compliances
  • Reviewing contracts (clients / vendors) from a commercial perspective and ensuring a robust procurement process is in place for the organization
  • Being a part of the leadership team and a sounding board for the client's leadership
